Oscar Pistorius Involved In Nightclub Fight After Man Confronts Him Over Murder Trial

Murder-accused Oscar Pistorius has been involved in a spat at a VIP nightclub.
The incident happened as the ‘Blade Runner’ takes a break from his trial while legal teams prepare their final arguments.

He was accused of insulting South Africa’s president Zuma and being “drunk and aggressive.”
But last night Oscar’s spokesperson confirmed he was at the club and there was an incident – but denied he had behaved inappropriately.
She said: “We can confirm that Oscar was at a night club with one of his cousins.
“They sat in a quiet area of the private VIP section when they were approached by the individual you have identified as Mr Mortimer.”
Spokeswoman Anneliese Burgess added: “The individual in question, according to our client, started
to aggressively engage him on matters relating to the trial.
“An argument ensued during which our client asked to be left alone.
“Oscar left soon thereafter with his cousin. Our client regrets the decision to go into a public place and thereby inviting unwelcome attention,” she added.
According to reports in South Africa, Jahed Mortimer, was the man involved in the clash with Pistorius.
He allegedly claims Pistorius was drunk and very aggressive.
He admits he pushed the star over after he was poked in the chest.
Mortimer is said to be friends with former soccer player Mark Batchelor, who has a long-term feud with Pistorius.
It was claimed he became cross with the star after he insulted President Zuma.  Moritmer’s best friend is Zuma’s son Duduzane.
According to celebrity news site Juice, Jared allegedly entered the vip area of the club as he recognised one of his friends, who then introduced him to Oscar.
He reportedly said: “Oscar knew one of my friends and said, ‘Oh, you are the infamous Jared Mortimer’.
“He immediately started talking about his friends and how they had backstabbed him.
“He mentioned Justin Divaris and Darren Fresco. He then mentioned one of my
friends and claimed he had a lot of dirt on that person.”
“He was going on about how influential his family is and how connected they are. He even pulled out his phone to show me pictures of armoured cars.
“He said ‘My family owns SANDF. Zuma works for us. I’ll p*ss on Zuma.”
SANDF is The South African National Defence Force.
It is then claimed Oscar started poking Jared on the chest, aggressivly pulling his neck to talk to him.
“He said you’ll never get the better of me. I’ll always get the better of you,” Jared is
quoted as saying.
Jared is then said to have pushed Oscar causing him to fall over and prompting the bouncers to
intervene before Oscar left the club.
But one of the club’s managers, Perry Mermigas, last night told the Daily Mirror he was with Oscar on Saturday night and said there was no altercation.
“There was no altercation of any sort,” he insisted.
“Oscar arrived with his cousin and we gave him a booth.  He had a few drinks and left an hour later.”
