TERROR: We have 75 female suicide bombers – Boko Haram
Boko Haram sect has adopted the Palestinian model of Jihadism in its usage of young girls as suicide bombers on buses and crowded places, a source close to the sect tells 247ureports. It was learnt that Boko Haram has also gone into a partnership with leaders of Hezbollah to help recruit and train young innocent girls as potential suicide bombers for use in parts of northern Nigeria.

According to the report, the pair started dating last year. But on numerous occasions, Raphael asked for her hand in marriage but Gift always refused. Her family claims she always said, “he was a difficult man”.

Doctor who treated more than 100 Ebola patients dies from the virus
The Sierra Leonean doctor who treated more than 100 Ebola patients has also died. Dr Sheik Umar Khan (pictured above), who was hailed as a national hero for disregarding his own health and helping sick patients, died today July 29th from the disease after being diagnosed with the virus last week. He contacted the virus despite wearing protective gear when treating patients.
In an interview last month, the 39yr old doctor had expressed fears for his life because of his constant contact with Ebola patients.
"I am afraid for my life. Health workers are prone to the disease because we are the first port of call for somebody who is sickened by the disease. Even with the full protective clothing you put on, you are at risk" He told ReutersHis death comes days after a senior doctor at Liberia's largest hospital, Samuel Brisbane, died on Saturday at an Ebola treatment centre in Monrovia. 3 nurses working in the same Ebola treatment centre alongside Khan also died from the disease last week. Several other medics have been infected.

Blessing Okagbare wins Gold in Women's 100m final in Glasgow
Sprinter Blessing Okagbare just won Gold in the Women's 100m for Nigeria in the Commonwealth Games. Muiscian Lagbaja over the weekend reportedly turned down an offer by the Iyiola Omisore Campaign Organisation to perform at the grand finale rally & reception for Pres. Jonathan scheduled to hold in Osogbo, Osun State, next week.
Bricklayer gunned down while testing ‘bullet-proof charm’ in Osun
An apprentice bricklayer, identified as Rasheed Sulaiman, was shot dead while testing the potency of a bullet-proof charm given to him by a herbalist in Asipa community, Osun State. According to a resident, Sulaiman, on Saturday called his cousin, Siji, to follow him to a secluded place to test the charm. It was learnt that Sulaiman had wore the amulet and gave a gun to his cousin to fire at him. The cousin fired the shot and killed Sulaiman instantly, according to reports from Punch. Residents were unaware of the mission of duo, but the sound of a gunshot was said to have attracted attention of the people of the area to where the incident happened. Siji was said to be found weeping beside the body of the deceased. Siji reportedly explained that the deceased compelled him to shoot at him to test the potency of an amulet. It was gathered that the deceased, who was known to be a tough guy, could be preparing to use the charm for the governorship election in the state. The incident was said to have triggered panic among the elders of the community who believed that some other youths might have similar charms.
BREAKING NEWS: Another blast hits Trade Fair Complex in Kano
Kano has now become the focus of the entire country as the Police has just confirmed that another bomb, at about 1.40pm went off at the Trade Fair Complex located on Zoo Road, close to the popular Shoprite shopping mall in the ancient city. The confirmation which was posted on the Force twitter handle says a female bomber of about 18 years of age died in the blast, while at least, six persons were injured. The police further confirmed that the area has been cordoned off by security attached to Shoprite.

Boko Haram Kidnaps Wife of Cameroon’s Deputy Prime Minister
Cameroon soldiers protecting the country’s border with Nigerua
The Cameroonian military says members of the Nigerian militant group Boko Haram have abducted the wife of the country’s deputy prime minister in the northern Cameroonian town of Kolofata.
A local religious leader and mayor was also abducted from the same town.
Separately, at least five people in northern Nigeria were killed in a blast – residents suspect Boko Haram.
Boko Haram has stepped up cross-border attacks into Cameroon in recent weeks, as the army was deployed to the region.
Militants have kidnapped foreign nationals in northern Cameroon before, including a French family and Chinese workers.
