A 29-year-old man, Kingsley Ekerete, has been arrested by the Rivers State police command for killing his 7-year-old daughter over a plate of boiled rice in Obinmama, Oyigbo Local Government Area of the state.
Ekerete, is a commercial bus driver who hails from Nto Osung community in Ikot Ekpene Local Area of Akwa Ibom State, and holds only a First School Leaving Certificate.
Going by his looks, it would be hard to believe that such a person could be capable of killing his own child, even in a fit of rage.
