A Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter on a training mission in the afternoon of Monday, July 21, 2014 crashed due to technical fault at a location South of Bama, Borno.
The director of defence information, Major General Chris Olukolade has said that investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances that led to the accident.
Olukolade also established that the crash is not as a result of any enemy action.
There is no report on casualties.
Further details on the crash will be made known as soon as the investigation is progresses.
